SP Cote – 11 Paste is water base refractory cum insulating Die-cote for Aluminum Gravity Die Casting industries. This product has Special binding property.
SP Cote – 11 Paste is specially designed for GDC products & Ingot Manufacturing Industries. It give proper insulation properties & refractoriness to the Castings where the thickness of the gravity die casting is more thick. It gives insulation & fluidity to the molten metal. It also avoids shrinkage defects & gives good surface finish to the Aluminum Gravity Die Castings & Ingots received from the Dies. This die-cote gives easily casting ejection properties in GDC process
Dilute the SP Cote 11 Paste with water in the ratio of 1:1 i. e. (S P Cote 11 paste : water). Mix it thoroughly to uniform liquid. Filter the aqueous product through the thin cloth if necessary. Apply the coating by brushing or swabbing on the Hot Die surface where the thickness of the casting is more. Pre-heat the Die at a Temp.120oC -140oC .
Pre-heat the coated tools at a Temp. 130oC ± 10oC to remove the moisture content

Store the material in dry & cool area
